Woodstock is not exempt from the possibility of a major emergency. Primary hazards continue to exist around hazardous materials, transportation, energy, and weather-related incidents. Woodstock has multiple high-rise apartment buildings and a robust manufacturing sector, which also present unique hazards within the community.
